L’Afrique doit aller au-delà de la construction d’infrastructures numériques destinées à une élite restreinte pour se concentrer plutôt sur la mise en place de systèmes évolutifs au service des plus vulnérables, dont les femmes, les jeunes et les travailleurs informels. Malgré la progression de l’utilisation du mobile, des investissements dans les fintechs et les avancées en matière d’infrastructures publiques numériques, plus de 400 millions d’Africains restent financièrement exclus.

GhIPSS Instant Pay (GIP), Ghana’s Instant Payment solution, is considered one of the most advanced on the Africa continent, based on AfricaNenda's State of Instant and Inclusive Payment Systems (SIIPS) in Africa report 2022.
