AfricaNenda Foundation Joins the D4D Hub Civil society and Academia Advisory Group

25 July 2024

We are proud to announce our recent acceptance as a member of the civil society and academia advisory group within the Digital for Development (D4D) Hub, a pioneering platform fostering collaboration between various stakeholders for a sustainable and inclusive digital transformation.

The D4D Hub, established in December 2020 by the European Union and its Member States, champions a human-centric approach to digital transformation. It serves as a conduit for international digital partnerships and multi-stakeholder collaboration, with a presence in Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, Asia-Pacific, and the EU neighbouring countries.

AfricaNenda aligns with the D4D Hub vision to shape a sustainable digital future for all, bridging digital divides to place people at the heart of digital economies and societies worldwide.

‘’We are glad to now be a part of the D4D Hub. By recognizing the potential of digitalization, AfricaNenda Foundation seeks to support development cooperation together with Team Europe. Membership at the D4D Hub will enable AfricaNenda Foundation to participate more intensively in the European Union’s digital cooperation projects worldwide.’’

As members of the D4D Hub civil society and academia advisory group, we look forward to contributing our insights, participating in crucial discussions, and engaging in European cooperation initiatives. We are excited to embark on this journey and collaborate with partners across the EU and beyond.
