The report is an AfricaNenda initiative with the World Bank and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. The report aims to inform stakeholders in Africa and beyond about the instant payment systems (IPS) ecosystem development. The first edition focuses on the current landscape of IPS, assessing the inclusivity of instant payment systems through their accessibility to all end-users, their capacity to ensure fair access, and design input opportunities for all licensed payment providers.
