With close to a decade of leadership experience in the finance sector, starting from a technology background and gradually shifting into regulation and policy formulation for the payments ecosystem. He is passionate about the intersection of technology and policy, that can be used to foster an enabling environment for innovation and growth.

His portfolio at the Central Bank of Eswatini includes the licensing of Mobile Money Service Providers and Payments Service Providers. Including the regulation, supervision and oversight of payment service providers to ensure safe and efficient payments in Eswatini. This includes collaborating with sister regulators in the SADC region to streamline the processing of regional and international payments in line with best practice.

His recent projects include collaboratively leading the Eswatini financial industry in the implementation of the Eswatini Payment Switch. An innovative payments platform that aims to modernize Eswatini payments. This platform will provide convenience to emaSwati by offering 24x7 payments through the recently launched Fast Payments module, followed by innovation that will drive domestic e-commerce and government payments through the Open Banking phase, and finally localization of card processing to drive efficiencies.
