Pierre Guislain

Pierre Guislain is an independent strategic advisor, having previously served as Vice President, Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialisation at the African Development Bank for three years, where his areas of responsibilities covered financial sector development.

Prior to this, Mr. Guislain spent more than 30 years at the World Bank Group, including as Senior Director for the Transport and Information & Communication Technologies Global Practice at the World Bank, as Director of the joint World Bank-IFC-MIGA Investment Climate Department, and as the IFC’s co-director for Fragile and Conflict-affected states. He is the author and editor of several publications on private sector development, foreign direct investment, and ICT.

Mr. Guislain holds an MPA in Economics and Public Policy from Princeton University as well as a graduate law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain.
