Nicholas Mungo joins a growing team of professionals working at the Level One Project on the Africanenda program under the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors group.

Previously, Nicholas was a Payments Lead under the First Rand Bank in Zambia under the Project Management Office and he has also has served and worked for IBM Africa (for Zambia and Malawi), Zambia Revenue Authority, Airtel Africa, Celtel Zambia to name a few apart from working in a number of Zambia Payment Projects such as PCI DSS, migration of Zambia from VISA to Zambia’s local switch and the Zambian Road Development Weighbridge project. His tour of duty has also included the management of Postpaid, Mobile Money, eWallet platforms and programs, etc. His passion is financial access for all, everywhere without borders, at low & affordable cost to drive the agenda of financial good health for all peoples.

Nicholas trained at Evelyn Hone College before undertaking programs at Binary University as well as the Graduate School of Business at the University of Zambia. He is passionate about acquiring and sharing knowledge and continues to forge ahead aiming for a Doctorate in the near future. In his free time, he serves as a mentor to students at Chalimbana University in Chongwe, Zambia on aspects such as importance of educations, dedication and life in general.
